The 275HVD is designed to detect the presence of high voltages without physical contact. A rotary switch has 8 selectable positions according to the detection range.
As soon as the detector is placed near the voltage conductor, its sensor collects the radiation of the electric field.
Once the threshold, belonging to the range set with the rotary switch, is reached the buzzer releases a beep and a warning indicator with red light (double LED) warns the operator that the conductor is active.
The model 275HVD is equipped with 3 standard Alkaline batteries (included) and can be used both outdoors and indoors A universal hook on the rear end makes it easy to connect to any rigid extension.
A self-test position ensures that all circuits and indicators are working properly before use.

The 275HVD probe is used with the aid of an insulating foil made of synthetic resin tube reinforced with glass fibers, complete with:
- boundary guard and insulating bottom cap on the base element
- quick couplers with nylon clamping ring loaded glass anti-seizing
- adapter for connection detector voltage can be switched on the first, second and third element
- Bag for transport and storage.
